Driving Directions

Key West is the Southernmost Island of the Florida Keys that stretch 120 miles along the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. If you are not able to fly directly into Key West International Airport you are still in for a gorgeous drive with interesting shops, dining and island character along the way.  Its hard to become lost as there is only one way in or out of The Keys, US-1, but its easy to be lost along the way exploring the unique Caribbean-like islands of the US!

Planes, Trains & Automobiles! Did you know that there are ways to travel to Key West other than flying and driving?
If you are coming from Marco Island or Fort Meyers you can take the Key West Express; a fast-speed ferry that allows you to start your vacation on the way over! Cruise through The Gulf with a cocktail and mingle on your way to Key West! https://www.keywestexpress.net/

There are an abundance of companies out of Miami who offer shuttles, car services, limousines, and buses if you do not want to take on the drive yourself.  Check out  http://www.fla-keys.com/gettinghere/ for the best driving instructions and details for your journey. You can even take the Amtrak to Miami then take the Keys Shuttle bus down to Key West!
