Both guest rooms have a comfortable queen bed with extra drawers built into the bed frames for maximum storage space! Each room has a closet with lots of hanging space a flat screen TV, tile throughout and new paint for a fresh, clean feel.

Settled in the manicured, gated community of The Shipyard, this location offers guests a peaceful spot to relax just a block from all the action! You will be in walking distance from Fort Zachary’s gorgeous beach and picnic area, Duval Street, Mallory Square and more! The Shipyard also offers a beautiful community pool lined with lounge chairs perfect for soaking up the sun. Parking is always an issue in Old Town, but this condo comes with its own designated parking space!  The sofa in the living room conveniently folds out for a third bed.

OUTDOOR LIVING….
Open the French doors to the back deck letting in the great breezes and sunrays that fill the space throughout the day. This wonderful extension to the living space has a table for two where you can have your morning coffee or enjoy a cocktail after a long day of exploring. On hot summer days pull out the awning to push back the sun so you can enjoy the views without sitting in the direct sunlight.

This centrally Old Town historical but modern 2 BR/1BA unit with full size front end loading clothes washer and dryer with full modern kitchen (minus bowls?) was a great stay. Second floor, the views were not great from the front porch (parking lot view) but the rear porch were good (not great) for people watching on their way to/from the beach and sunsets. There were plenty of towels, both bath and beach. Comfy sofa and good size tv (42" or greater) in living room and a 32" in both BR's. Beds could use some updating. There is a nice pool 30 seconds away and Ft Zackery Taylor beach about a 10 minute walk. If you fly in, dont bother renting a car, rent bicycles, parking is tough if you drive off the Annex. I Ubered/Lyfted it to the market for $8 each way and stalked up for my 1 week stay.. Overall I would stay here again and definitely recommend this unit.

My husband and I stayed at the Quarterdeck mid November and found it to be an ideal location for our Key West getaway. The condo was bright and clean. Although it was an easy walking distance to Duval street and numerous restaurants and attractions it was still far enough away to be quiet for sleeping (barring the occasional rooster!) Would definitely recommend it for a reasonably priced couples vacation. Thanks!

Our experience was very nice. Brian, the property owner, was kind enough to call and let us know the condo was ready early for us. The location is great, the annex as a whole is cute and the pool is great to have. The condo has a great layout, comfortable common area and newly updated kitchen. I will preface my few cons with the fact that I am an extreme neat freak and generally have unreasonably high expectations for cleanliness. The bathroom is small and a little dated which just by nature made it not entirely clean and the bedrooms are carpeted which again by nature in a climate like the Keys does not lend well to remaining clean. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Quarterdeck, thank you so much! The house is furnished beautiful and extremely well kept, it has all amenities that one needs and it is in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. We loved it so much, we would have liked to stay there for good. On top of that, everything that you want to see is within walking distance, so you can leave the car in the parking lot. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. All in all, we had a lovely time and immediately felt at home. There is no way the property could improve. It was excellent! Don't change anything! Regarding activities we enjoyed very much just walking aroung old Key West, where every single house is so beautiful. We also took a tour on the conch train, which was very informative, visited the Audubon and Hemmingway houses, the shipwreck and butterfly museum. We loved to dine at Caroline's and the Hard Rock Caf. We also took a boat tour to the dolphins and snokeled the reef. I would recommend this vacation and especially this property to all my friends!

Being a Key West native I knew this condo was in a great location (at a fantastic rate) but I was SO pleasently surprised at how lovely this condo was. Beautiful modern furnishings and very clean. My family and I had a great stay with my two year old son. We are already planning another trip and stay at this condo. The condo is within walking distance of my favorite eating spot... Blue Heaven.. What a plus for me!!! The only "issue" is that the pool seems to be for adults only. It states on the fence around the pool that children in swim diapers are not allowed. Just know this if you are bringing young children. It did not stop our good time as we spent most of it at the beach which is SO close.

We just spent a week in Key West this summer as our family vacation. The Quarter Deck was a fabulous property just a couple of blocks from Duval Street, Little White House, Hemmingway House and many more sights that we were fortunate to see. The community pool was never too crowded and the kids made new friends each day down there. It was a great place to cool off in the heat of the day. Our unit was clean and comfortable and included all of the linens, towels, cookware, etc that we needed. Having breakfast and lunch in helped to keep our costs in check with 3 boys! The boys enjoyed their afternoon siestas watching TV snuggled up in their room. Just outside of our "neighborhood" was the pier where the USCGC Ingham is moored, which was a great place to tour and to see the sunset (Thursday - Saturday just $5, includes a drink). Beats the heck out of the crowds at Malory Square, chairs are provided on the deck of the ship, and funds help to preserve this floating time capsule of Coast Guard and naval history. We will definitely come visit again, and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Key West. We will likely plan a Fall or Spring trip next time to avoid the heat, but otherwise our trip was about as perfect as we could have hoped. Truman Annex is a great location in Key West. Its a long block away from Duval St, 4-5 blocks from Mallory Square, 8-10 blocks from Southern Most Point. It is very quiet, peaceful, has a nice pool. This unit is a clean, bright 2 bedroom unit. Very well maintained, has an abundance of towels, extra linens, and kitchen needs (plates, utensils, cooking items, etc). The washer/dryer does come in handy to take care of the dirty things from walking about in the heat or going to the beach. WiFi was safe, secured and fast to do on-line work. We were very impressed and had a wonderful stay. A great value.

Notes

DAMAGE INSURANCE/ SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A non-refundable and non-taxable security deposit insurance premium at a flat rate of $45.00 will be added to each reservation as an alternative to a full security deposit. This policy covers up to $3000.00 worth of accidental damages. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A U.S. ADDRESS please alert our reservationist so she can update your quote. Guests without a U.S. address are not eligible for the damage insurance policy and must submit a refundable security deposit equivalent to 20% of the reservation total (not to exceed $3,000).

EVENT/ HOLIDAY/ FESTIVAL PRICING:
We charge an additional 25% to the rate for stays that fall during an Event/ Festival/ Holiday and include but are not limited to the 4th of July, Easter, Yacht Race Weeks, Power Boat Race week, Lobster Mini season, Labor Day, etc. We may require 7 night minimums for the dates surrounding a major holiday. FANTASY FEST, CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS are priced at the Peak Season rate and require a 7 night minimum stay.

BOOKING NOTES:
We reserve the right to deny requested dates if they decrease the optimum booking layout for the property's calendar. If we have vacancy between two stays that is less than the minimum stay requirement, then we will consider shorter stays.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:
All guests must be at least 25 years of age to be considered. All guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Spring break groups are prohibited and eviction strictly enforced with no refund.

HOSTING EVENTS/ PARTIES:
Guests are strictly prohibited from hosting a party or event at the rental property without written permission from our company.

***We highly recommend waiting to book flights until you have fully secured a reservation; meaning you have received the email confirmation and have made your deposit payment.
