Absolutely cannot beat the location ... on the less busy end of Duval only a few blocks from the Southernmost Point. The cottage was just the right size for 2 people, was clean and well appointed. Walking distance to so many restaurants and lots of people watching from the front porch. A bonus was we got to meet several of the neighbors (Paul/Emily/Todd/David/Less) around us and they were all great - happy hour to celebrate Paul's birthday month was one of our best nights). Todd was super helpful and answered any question we had about the house and neighborhood. Communication with Whitney at Best of Key West Rentals was always prompt and helpful. Highly recommend.

RELAXED DOWNTOWN LIVING... Envelop yourself in true island living in this cute cottage just for the two of you. One of six homes in this exclusive compound located in the heart of Old Town. Located one block from Duval with charming porch and shared heated pool. Walk or stroll to dining, night life, galleries, shopping, and be at fabulous Ft. Zachary beach beach in minutes. ***PRIMARY GUEST MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE FURNISHINGS... Cozy one queen bedroom and one bath.  Great open floor plan with hardwood floors, plenty of Key West sunshine and blue skies through the large windows. Flat screens in the living and bedroom.  Well stocked kitchen to use your culinary skills.  Washer and dryer.  Sofa sleeper in the living room is also available. OUTSIDE LIVING... Beautiful heated pool and waterfall.  The pool and courtyard area is shared with five other homes, but it will feel like your own quiet piece of paradise with little to no traffic. NEIGHBORHOOD ATTRACTIONS... Stroll through Bahama Village located in downtown Key West; aptly named because of it's many inhabitants that are of Bahamian decent. This lively neighborhood offers many popular restaurants such as Blue Heaven, Santiago's Bodega and La Creppiere. You can also find many small boutiques filled with treasures made by local artisans, some specialty wares and even antiques.  Directly across from Hemingway's Home, Moon Dog restaurant and steps from the Southernmost Point. PARKING... This home does not have designated parking but there is on street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.  Please refrain from parking in spots marked “residential”. Guests may also park at the Old Town Parking Garage which allows daily and monthly rates. PETS... No pets allowed. MULTI MONTH RESERVATIONS... For monthly reservations, the following fees will be added PER MONTH: Mid-stay clean Pool/hot tub heating fee (if applicable) Pet fee (if applicable) BOOKING DATES... This home is only available as a monthly rental (28 night minimum). We prefer to book by the calendar month (first day of the month to the last). We may consider alternate dates if the calendar allows or if the owner will make an exception. CONCIERGE SERVICES... Arrival and departure was extremely easy, we were given the door code and did a self check in and when we left, we basically left the cottage the way we found it and closed the door. A few days after we arrived the garburator started to leak, and also the BBQ grill ran out of propane. We contacted Truman properties and both were fixed immediately. When we walked into the cottage it was exactly as it appeared on the website which was very satisfying. The location of the property was basically in the middle between the harbor and the beaches, each being about a 10 minute walk in either direction and it was just one block from Duval so that we didnt hear or see all the action, but were close enough to wander over. We did not rent a car for our months stay and really did not need one to get around. We rented bicycles for a few days which was nice to give our feet a rest and to see just a little bit more of the island. There were many great restaurants and happy hours to take in. The weather was amazing every day, and there were also many events happening each week while we were there. I would recommend this cottage to experience all that Key West has to offer.

818-2 Whitehead really is in the heart of it all. 1/2 block from Hemingway House, 1 block from Blue Heaven, and 2 blocks from Green Parrot. We were there for two months and couldn't have been happier with it all. Particularly the staff at the rental office -- always helpful and friendly. Parking can be a bit tough some times, but with the location, and our bicycles, we would sometimes go a week or more with just walking wherever we wanted to go. A great place to relax on the front porch and let the world (or at lease the tourists) go by.

We had a very relaxing stay here. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the living room was great for just hanging out. And the balcony off the master was a nice spot to sit and update my travel journal.
Management was very responsive and helpful. The location is far enough away from Duval to be out of the crush of people and traffic but is still only a few minutes drive away. We'd definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this VRBO rental in Key West, and overall, it was a delightful experience.

The rental was exceptionally clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. Nestled in a quiet area just outside the hustle and bustle, the location provided a peaceful retreat while remaining conveniently close to Key West's attractions.

One of the highlights was the condo's well-equipped kitchen, stocked with all the necessities including pots, pans, and utensils. However, I would have appreciated some additional storage space in the kitchen for use as a pantry.

The abundance of clean towels and extra blankets was a thoughtful touch, ensuring a comfortable stay. Checking in and out was a breeze, adding to the overall convenience of the accommodation.

One minor downside was the scratching sound against a window during windy weather caused by an overgrown palm tree. Trimming it would have improved the overall ambiance and comfort of the stay.

Another area for improvement was the bedroom storage situation. While there were two closets in the primary suite, one was unfortunately locked, and the other was occupied by a shelf holding extra towels and blankets. This left no space for storing clothes, which could be inconvenient for guests with an extended stay.

Despite these minor points, the OFF CALL rental in Key West offered a tranquil and relaxing retreat, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a quieter atmosphere just moments away from the vibrant attractions of Key West.

I will start saying Stock Island is underrated, I'm glad that I didn't research this area or location before I rented this place because online search can be way of the real deal, even that this location is not as close to the main attraction as others I have stayed in key West before this is my favorite, I definitely recommend it Especially to families, even that I had issues getting a car rental I still get around just fine, I feel safe with my daughters and grandkids riding bikes late a night, there's plenty security, the police is out there patrolling and guardian some deserted areas with low lighting is the main thing I like to share Because I saw comments not to favorable to the area of having 'sketchy zones, but my personal experience riding bikes day and night with my daughters..I felt safer in Stock Island than in Duval streets and even the homeless which I passed day and night were very nice people.the Rental is Out standing! As you walking in feels just like home! The pictures does not do much justice the place is much better once you get there..

OFF CALL was a beautiful condo. It had all the amenities we needed. It was very clean,with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths made it very convenient and comfortable for everyone. Having a deck and a balcony off the master bedroom was a plus. The location of the swimming pool was an easy stroll to get to.
This was a great location with easy access to Key West, taking all of 10 minutes to get to.
We will definitely consider this location next time we go to Key West.
The management was very responsive and on their game. We could not have been more pleased.

We had a very relaxing stay here. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the living room was great for just hanging out. And the balcony off the master was a nice spot to sit and update my travel journal.
Management was very responsive and helpful. The location is far enough away from Duval to be out of the crush of people and traffic but is still only a few minutes drive away. We'd definitely stay here again.

Off Call is a lovely property. Perfect for a small family to enjoy the lower keys. Super close to all of Key West fun but also in a quiet calm area. We loved everything about this property.

I will start saying Stock Island is underrated, I'm glad that I didn't research this area or location before I rented this place because online search can be way of the real deal, even that this location is not as close to the main attraction as others I have stayed in key West before this is my favorite, I definitely recommend it Especially to families, even that I had issues getting a car rental I still get around just fine, I feel safe with my daughters and grandkids riding bikes late a night, there's plenty security, the police is out there patrolling and guardian some deserted areas with low lighting is the main thing I like to share Because I saw comments not to favorable to the area of having 'sketchy zones, but my personal experience riding bikes day and night with my daughters..I felt safer in Stock Island than in Duval streets and even the homeless which I passed day and night were very nice people.the Rental is Out standing! As you walking in feels just like home! The pictures does not do much justice the place is much better once you get there..

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this VRBO rental in Key West, and overall, it was a delightful experience.

The rental was exceptionally clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. Nestled in a quiet area just outside the hustle and bustle, the location provided a peaceful retreat while remaining conveniently close to Key West's attractions.

One of the highlights was the condo's well-equipped kitchen, stocked with all the necessities including pots, pans, and utensils. However, I would have appreciated some additional storage space in the kitchen for use as a pantry.

The abundance of clean towels and extra blankets was a thoughtful touch, ensuring a comfortable stay. Checking in and out was a breeze, adding to the overall convenience of the accommodation.

One minor downside was the scratching sound against a window during windy weather caused by an overgrown palm tree. Trimming it would have improved the overall ambiance and comfort of the stay.

Another area for improvement was the bedroom storage situation. While there were two closets in the primary suite, one was unfortunately locked, and the other was occupied by a shelf holding extra towels and blankets. This left no space for storing clothes, which could be inconvenient for guests with an extended stay.

Despite these minor points, the OFF CALL rental in Key West offered a tranquil and relaxing retreat, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a quieter atmosphere just moments away from the vibrant attractions of Key West.

OFF CALL was a beautiful condo. It had all the amenities we needed. It was very clean,with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths made it very convenient and comfortable for everyone. Having a deck and a balcony off the master bedroom was a plus. The location of the swimming pool was an easy stroll to get to.
This was a great location with easy access to Key West, taking all of 10 minutes to get to.
We will definitely consider this location next time we go to Key West.
The management was very responsive and on their game. We could not have been more pleased.

The house is exactly what you dream up when you think Key West-colorful and tropical. A perfect location, close to the action but hidden in an alley so its very quiet. Completely charming and totally Key West. This home was immaculate and comfortable for our entire group. The lane was quiet without a lot of vehicle traffic. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee and the people passing by on their way to the corner bakery were friendly. The backyard was perfect for conversation and cocktails and there are excellent restaurants within walking distance. The only difficulty was having a single parking space because our group had multiple cars. So rent bikes and enjoy!

OLD TOWN PARADISE.... Paradise awaits in a quiet Old Town location.  This four bedroom home is set on a cozy lane that is off the beaten path but close enough to walk or ride your bicycle to restaurants, museums or galleries.  Newly renovated and designer decorated to bring you a home with island details and a luxurious flare.  ***PRIMARY GUEST MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE DETAILS & AMENITIES.... This charming 4 bedroom/4 bath home is set on a historic lane with one off street parking spot.  Open the front gate to step onto the lovely front porch where seating is laid out to take your morning coffee.  Once inside the front door you will enjoy the mix of historic and modern which mesh seamlessly.  Hardwood wood floors carry you throughout with the exception of the tiled bathrooms.  You will find the kitchen to be fully equipped to meet all your cooking needs.  White cabinets and stainless steel appliances make this space light & bright and an enjoyable gathering space.  A full bathroom is conveniently located off the kitchen.  This is great for entertaining and can also double as the pool bath.  SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS.... The primary bedroom is conveniently located on the main level.  This bedroom is equipped with a large closet and a comfortable king size bed.  The master bathroom in on suite and has a tub for soaking, a tiled shower and double vanity.  Travel up the wood stairs to the two guest bedrooms.  High ceilings and wrapped wood beams add great architectural detail to these rooms.  The front bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king upon request.  There is a long closet for all your storage needs.  The second guest bedroom has a king size bed with a closet and views of the pool.  The guest bathroom is located between the two bedrooms.  The bathroom is equipped with a large shower and a single vanity.  The fourth bedroom is located in the private rear cottage.  The cottage has a queen size bed and its own full bath.  Each sleeping space has a flat screen TV. OUTDOOR LIVING... The rear yard is a private oasis that will make your vacation complete.  There is a private L-shaped salt water pool which is heated and has a calming water feature. Whether floating in the pool or lounging in a chaise, relaxation awaits.  If you're interested in enjoying your surroundings from the indoors, there is a beautiful solarium where you can relax with a book, get some work done or just take a break from the Florida sunshine. It is preferred that this area remain for adults only. **Since photos were originally taken the owner has added 2 lounge chairs and an L-shaped wicker sectional to the seating in the pool area, as well as a propane grill. PETS... This is not a pet-friendly home. MULTI MONTH RESERVATIONS... For monthly reservations, the following fees will be added PER MONTH: Mid-stay clean Pool/hot tub heating fee (if applicable) Pet fee (if applicable) BOOKING DATES... This home is only available as a monthly rental (28 night minimum). We prefer to book by the calendar month (first day of the month to the last). We may consider alternate dates if the calendar allows or if the owner will make an exception. CONCIERGE SERVICES... Enjoy our concierge service to assist you with planning activities for your trip. They can also have your fridge stocked with all the necessities in advance of your arrival! CANCELLATION... Bookings canceled at least 90 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations inside of 90 days may receive a refund if we are able to re-rent any or all of the dates of the stay. The refund amount is dependent upon the rate of the new reservation. Perfect property, all as promised, pleasant stay. I think the place was constructed by a tall person, as microwave was too high above stove. Also, shower in pool house very high, could barely reach hanging rack for toiletries. Shower curtain rod too high, could not hang towel over it. More towel racks and shower safety bar needed. Blankets needed in pool house for colder weather

My daughter wanted a girls trip for her 18th birthday and this house helped make it perfect! There were 4 of us. Her and her best friend stayed in the guest house, which was great because it gave them some privacy but felt very safe. This house is in a great location with my two favorite breakfast places right at the corners on Duvall We walked a lot but also rented a golf cart to tour around the island more....highly recommend doing that! The size of the house was great for 4. More than that might find it tight if you are planning to watch TV together (we didn’t). Kitchen was great but the eating area is also a little tight...but you can always eat outside! Pool was awesome and loved the water feature. Outdoor space is great, including the swing on the front perch. Everything was very clean. The furniture in the TV area didn’t bother me, but I can see why some would complain that it’s needs replaced. Decor was perfect, beds were comfy, lots of pool towels, etc. Communication with the mgt company was excellent and appreciated then letting us know the house was ready for check in early. No complaints! LOVED IT and definitely recommend it!

This place is magnificent! We stayed in Key West a bunch of times and this was by far our favorite stay! The private pool and patio were the best. You are surrounded by houses, however all of the vegetation and fences make it private. The house was spotless and very comfortable. Even if I had to say one bad thing about this place, I wouldn’t be able to think of anything. We will definitely be staying here again. The property management company made it very easy to check in and out. And the location is the best. It’s steps from Duval Street however on the more quiet side, but still were able to walk to everything we wanted. I also left diamond earrings behind and made one quick text to the property manager and were able to get those back quickly. I can’t wait to go back.

We spent 5 days at this rental, we LOVED it. I have rented several different houses in Key West with private pools (its the only way to go) the Lady Admiral was my favorite house. We also loved the pool, however it is not as private as other rentals, it is a great pool and the waterfall does drown out the neighbors and it also allows them to not hear your entire conversation either. I will rent this property again.

Great Place With the Right Expectations

We stayed here with 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids). The space is not really meant for this even though it says it sleeps 8. There is large furniture everywhere so there is very little room for bags and other things that families with kids bring. I would absolutely stay here with 3 couples, or 1 family, but not with the 2 family setup we had.

As far as the condition, things appeared good, but we did have a few issues. The dryer did not work, but management was quick to respond and actually did the laundry for us as a repairman came the day of our checkout. Stuff happens, and at least they had an immediate solution that worked.

The other issue was the pool. There were iguanas all over the yard, which is fine and expected in Key West, but they kept popping in the pool from the trees above. Having a pool and being familiar with pool chemistry, I bought a kit and checked the levels. There was absolutely no chlorine and the PH was off the charts low. I bought the chemicals and balanced things out, but it was slightly annoying. Again, stuff happens and poop will definitely throw chemical balances out of whack, but I feel like a pool guy should come more often if that’s an ongoing issue.

Other than that, the place and location is great. Just a few blocks to southernmost point and walking distance to Duval, convenience store, coffee, etc. Also enough space for 2 cars, though you should just rent golf carts like we did.

This sweet cottage on a quiet little street on the quiet end of the island is a perfect spot. An easy walk to restaurants, shops and beach. The cottage is spotless and very well equipped. The extra bedroom and bath is perfect for families and very private. Great outdoor space with pool and space for grilling/dining.This is a great find in a great safe neighborhood. As a bonus, the management is excellent. They offered good information about the property and were always available for any questions. I would recommend this property for a stay in Key West Live like a local!!

Cute place right off Duval. Quick walk to Southernmost Point and 2 blocks away from free Duval Loop bus stop.

The rental house was perfect for me and my husband, my daughter and my parents. It is all on level so easy for my parents to navigate and close to lots of shops, restaurants and a beach. The pool was heated and we had fun playing cards by the pool. The only negative was that there was street noise late at night due to noisy neighbors but overall a great experience and would recommend the property.

We traveled to Key West for the Easter holiday with friends. The house was perfect with all the necessities. Very clean and they accommodated us leaving our bags at the house due to an early arrival. Highly recommend. Only downside is if you need a washer/dryer as non are on site.

With the pool and combination of outdoor and indoor spaces, this location allowed our group to have a nice combination of time together but not the feeling that we were living on top of one another. It's proximity to Duval and the feeling of safety in the neighborhood allowed for adolescent children to have much more freedom to come and go on their schedule.

We went to Key West to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday, June 2021, with another couple. Not having been to Key West before, we were shooting in the dark a little with knowing where the best locations were. This house, was hands down, the best place we could have found. You are just off Duval, but there isn't a lot of walking traffic or other types of traffic going by all hours that you see all over Key West. We rented bicycles, which was the only way to go! We could bike or walk to anywhere in Key West, without much of an issue. The house worked out great! The other couple stayed in the guest house and we stayed in the main house. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the kitchen was adequate. We even cooked several meals in the kitchen to save on going out. We loved being able to come back and cool off in the pool in the afternoons after roaming the city in the mornings. A quick nap and off to dinner. We received text messages and phone calls from the property manager to make sure we got in ok, and had what we needed. She was just a text away, which was great! Honestly, we couldn't have loved this property more!!

The only thing that happened, which I don't blame on the property or the owners, was a super sketchy guy came knocking on the front door at 4:50 one morning, and when we opted to not answer...he made his way around to the back doors and started knocking there asking to come in. We had clearly not latched the gate. My husband made sure he went away with a threatened call to the police, and the guy disappeared and we never saw him again. Just make sure you lock the doors and gates at night, just in case. Although, I'm sure this was a one off.

This is a great cottage very close to Duvall Street. You can walk everywhere and enjoy everything Key West has to offer. The house was perfect for 2 couples. The separate master bedroom gave everyone a bit of space. The pool and patio were great for hanging out but we did have a few iguana’s that liked to visit and could be a bit aggressive. They may have been fed by previous guests because they seemed to show up anytime we had food at the patio table.

We would definitely stay at this rental again. Location was terrific, property manager was helpful. No complaints.

Lady Admiral was everything we hoped and more. Melanie was most accommodating even dropping off an iron so I could iron my evening outfit!
Home was perfect for 2 couples. Clean and charming with everything we needed. Tropical pool oasis was wonderful for morning coffee and an evening swim. Highly recommend!

Very well kept up inside and out. Great to have a private pool ( Safety first no diving). Dinning utensils Glasses clean. Great home decor. No complaints about beds, but everyone has their own preference. The Lady Admiral just worked for my group!!

Stayed as a family of 4 adults and two children. The children loved the pool. The property itself was in a great location with thin easy walking distance of all major attractions. The property was clean and the beds were really comfortable, the separate bedroom was great for our family giving us all space and privacy. I would definitely recommend this property to a family or couples. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Loved this house but when we arrived most of the towels were damp. We found out the dryer doesn't work very well. But the house is only 3 blocks to Southern Most beach, close to great shopping and some of our favorite restaurants. The back house had an odor to it because it has a window a/c unit and I think it must not get very good ventilation when it isn't occupied. The house was pretty well stocked with everyday kitchen utensils.

This house is located just half a block away from all the action and yet offers a relaxing oasis from the crowds. The pool is wonderful! The house was stocked with enough supplies that we didn't need to immediately run to a grocery store upon arrival. Our property manager, Melanie, was awesome - very responsive whenever we had a question. I highly recommend this location!

The Lady Admiral is the perfect tropical retreat for a Key West Island getaway.

We reserved this beautiful, clean and cozy house to renew our vows for our 25th anniversary in the Keys. There was plenty of room for my wife and I, son , daughter-in-law and 2 teenage granddaughters.

The concierge service was outstanding having helped us find an officiant for our vow renewal ceremony. They reserved a table for us at Latitudes on Sunset Key. Also, secured a 6 passenger gas golf cart for our stay. Our property manager Melanie was extremely helpful, friendly and available should the need arise.

We simply loved our late night swimming in the gorgeous pool. We enjoyed outstanding dining throughout Key West. The location is perfect being just steps away from the Southernmost Point and all the action on Duval.

We highly recommend the Lady Admiral and don’t forget to enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the Banana Cafe.

We very much enjoyed our time here. We had three couples in town for the Mile 0 Fest and this was a perfect place for us. The location was great, quick walk or golf cart ride to anywhere we wanted to be. The pool was perfect for an afternoon cool off. Hosts were great to work with. (the only thing I didn't love were the pillows in the guest house bed, way too firm)

The location is great. It is steps from Duval street although at the far end from Mallory Square and much of the nightlife. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Pool is warm and a good size. The bedrooms were on the small size but were sufficient. The bed in the "king" bedroom in the house has an older mattress that was a bit uncomfortable but the other 2 beds were very good. Storage space in bedrooms was a bit limited but plenty of room in living room and kitchen. Was clean and well kept. Only problems were sinks in bathrooms tended to back up a little and the garbage can/recycle bin rollers are extremely difficult to move in and out. Overall, it was a good place to stay and we would recommend it.

This was perfect for what we needed. Very convenient location just off Duval Street with own parking; so easy to walk everywhere. This 3 BR cottage was a great place to stay. Pool area had great sunlight during the afternoon. Very clean and tidy. So conveniently located near Duval St and the beach. Easy Walking distances to many restaurants and cafes. Bike rental is the way to get around Key West. Lyft worked well for golf course and airport. I’d definitely re-rent this place.

Our family enjoyed our stay at The Lady Admiral Cottage. Lots of fun interesting artwork gave the cottage a very beachy feel. Everything was clean and well equipped. The pool was a great source of afternoon entertainment for our grandchildren. While the houses are very close together on the street, we all remarked on how private the back yard/pool area felt. I would definitely recommend the cottage for family get together!

Great rental in Key West that is in a quiet yet convenient location off Duval St. Easy walks to restaurants & shops but peaceful in the evenings. The home was adorable, clean and the perfect set up for our family with 2 teenagers. The pool and washer/dryer were a must-have during our July vacation. The house and grounds were perfect for six of us. It was so nice to have our personal pool and great location. House had all amenities that you need and gas grill for cooking and laundry. We used it all. The only negative is with storms was pool way to full and didn’t seem to be filtering correctly. We cleaned up area and pool skimmer. No one came to clean after storms.

From the moment we walked in we were thrilled!!! This home has been gutted and rebuilt from the inside out. Fabulously decorated, very comfortable beds, a beautiful kitchen, a wonderful Pool Guest House, a very comfortable and large patio deck around a centerpiece of a beautiful L shaped swimming with an amazing water fall.. Cannot wait for our next visit to Key West because we have found this rental to be our new home!!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this rental. The decor was absolutely amazing. The bed was so comfortable. The pillows we so comfy we tried to find a tag to purchase for our home. It looks small but it’s so roomy and had everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect. It was so clean and the property manager was very attentive and always available. The kitchen had everything we needed. We will 100% be coming back. Seriously I could go on for ever about how perfect this place was!

Lady Admiral was the perfect home for our trip! Plenty of room inside main house and having the pool house was a bonus. You don’t find many 3 bedroom homes with 2.5 bathrooms, it was nice to have! We enjoyed having a pool all to ourselves and was so nice and refreshing in the afternoons.
The management company Truman & Co and Melanie was an angel. She was very responsive and worked with us the entire time! She made everything so easy! I cannot say enough Wonderful things about our experience and will tell everyone I know how wonderful it was! We will be back!

This house worked for our family in all ways. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms, a beautiful pool with a little shade and a little sun at all times of day. A great private pool house with its own bathroom. We walked or biked to restaurants, shopping, beaches and bars. Stay here!

Perfect property, all as promised, pleasant stay. I think the place was constructed by a tall person, as microwave was too high above stove. Also, shower in pool house very high, could barely reach hanging rack for toiletries. Shower curtain rod too high, could not hang towel over it. More towel racks and shower safety bar needed. Blankets needed in pool house for colder weather

My daughter wanted a girls trip for her 18th birthday and this house helped make it perfect! There were 4 of us. Her and her best friend stayed in the guest house, which was great because it gave them some privacy but felt very safe. This house is in a great location with my two favorite breakfast places right at the corners on Duvall We walked a lot but also rented a golf cart to tour around the island more....highly recommend doing that! The size of the house was great for 4. More than that might find it tight if you are planning to watch TV together (we didn’t). Kitchen was great but the eating area is also a little tight...but you can always eat outside! Pool was awesome and loved the water feature. Outdoor space is great, including the swing on the front perch. Everything was very clean. The furniture in the TV area didn’t bother me, but I can see why some would complain that it’s needs replaced. Decor was perfect, beds were comfy, lots of pool towels, etc. Communication with the mgt company was excellent and appreciated then letting us know the house was ready for check in early. No complaints! LOVED IT and definitely recommend it!

This place is magnificent! We stayed in Key West a bunch of times and this was by far our favorite stay! The private pool and patio were the best. You are surrounded by houses, however all of the vegetation and fences make it private. The house was spotless and very comfortable. Even if I had to say one bad thing about this place, I wouldn’t be able to think of anything. We will definitely be staying here again. The property management company made it very easy to check in and out. And the location is the best. It’s steps from Duval Street however on the more quiet side, but still were able to walk to everything we wanted. I also left diamond earrings behind and made one quick text to the property manager and were able to get those back quickly. I can’t wait to go back.

We traveled to Key West for the Easter holiday with friends. The house was perfect with all the necessities. Very clean and they accommodated us leaving our bags at the house due to an early arrival. Highly recommend. Only downside is if you need a washer/dryer as non are on site.

The rental house was perfect for me and my husband, my daughter and my parents. It is all on level so easy for my parents to navigate and close to lots of shops, restaurants and a beach. The pool was heated and we had fun playing cards by the pool. The only negative was that there was street noise late at night due to noisy neighbors but overall a great experience and would recommend the property.

We spent 5 days at this rental, we LOVED it. I have rented several different houses in Key West with private pools (its the only way to go) the Lady Admiral was my favorite house. We also loved the pool, however it is not as private as other rentals, it is a great pool and the waterfall does drown out the neighbors and it also allows them to not hear your entire conversation either. I will rent this property again.

This sweet cottage on a quiet little street on the quiet end of the island is a perfect spot. An easy walk to restaurants, shops and beach. The cottage is spotless and very well equipped. The extra bedroom and bath is perfect for families and very private. Great outdoor space with pool and space for grilling/dining.This is a great find in a great safe neighborhood. As a bonus, the management is excellent. They offered good information about the property and were always available for any questions. I would recommend this property for a stay in Key West Live like a local!!

We stayed here with 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids). The space is not really meant for this even though it says it sleeps 8. There is large furniture everywhere so there is very little room for bags and other things that families with kids bring. I would absolutely stay here with 3 couples, or 1 family, but not with the 2 family setup we had.

As far as the condition, things appeared good, but we did have a few issues. The dryer did not work, but management was quick to respond and actually did the laundry for us as a repairman came the day of our checkout. Stuff happens, and at least they had an immediate solution that worked.

The other issue was the pool. There were iguanas all over the yard, which is fine and expected in Key West, but they kept popping in the pool from the trees above. Having a pool and being familiar with pool chemistry, I bought a kit and checked the levels. There was absolutely no chlorine and the PH was off the charts low. I bought the chemicals and balanced things out, but it was slightly annoying. Again, stuff happens and poop will definitely throw chemical balances out of whack, but I feel like a pool guy should come more often if that’s an ongoing issue.

Other than that, the place and location is great. Just a few blocks to southernmost point and walking distance to Duval, convenience store, coffee, etc. Also enough space for 2 cars, though you should just rent golf carts like we did.

We very much enjoyed our time here. We had three couples in town for the Mile 0 Fest and this was a perfect place for us. The location is great. It is steps from Duval street although at the far end from Mallory Square and much of the nightlife. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Pool is warm and a good size. The bedrooms were on the small size but were sufficient. The bed in the "king" bedroom in the house has an older mattress that was a bit uncomfortable but the other 2 beds were very good. Storage space in bedrooms was a bit limited but plenty of room in living room and kitchen. Was clean and well kept. Only problems were sinks in bathrooms tended to back up a little and the garbage can/recycle bin rollers are extremely difficult to move in and out. Overall, it was a good place to stay and we would recommend it.

The Lady Admiral is the perfect tropical retreat for a Key West Island getaway.

We reserved this beautiful, clean and cozy house to renew our vows for our 25th anniversary in the Keys. There was plenty of room for my wife and I, son , daughter-in-law and 2 teenage granddaughters.

The concierge service was outstanding having helped us find an officiant for our vow renewal ceremony. They reserved a table for us at Latitudes on Sunset Key. Also, secured a 6 passenger gas golf cart for our stay. Our property manager Melanie was extremely helpful, friendly and available should the need arise.

We simply loved our late night swimming in the gorgeous pool. We enjoyed outstanding dining throughout Key West. The location is perfect being just steps away from the Southernmost Point and all the action on Duval.

We highly recommend the Lady Admiral and don’t forget to enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the Banana Cafe.

This house is located just half a block away from all the action and yet offers a relaxing oasis from the crowds. The pool is wonderful! Loved this house but when we arrived most of the towels were damp. We found out the dryer doesn't work very well. But the house is only 3 blocks to Southern Most beach, close to great shopping and some of our favorite restaurants. The back house had an odor to it because it has a window a/c unit and I think it must not get very good ventilation when it isn't occupied. The house was pretty well stocked with everyday kitchen utensils.

This is a great cottage very close to Duvall Street. You can walk everywhere and enjoy everything Key West has to offer. The house was perfect for 2 couples. The separate master bedroom gave everyone a bit of space. The pool and patio were great for hanging out but we did have a few iguana’s that liked to visit and could be a bit aggressive. They may have been fed by previous guests because they seemed to show up anytime we had food at the patio table.

We would definitely stay at this rental again. Location was terrific, property manager was helpful. No complaints.

With the pool and combination of outdoor and indoor spaces, this location allowed our group to have a nice combination of time together but not the feeling that we were living on top of one another. It's proximity to Duval and the feeling of safety in the neighborhood allowed for adolescent children to have much more freedom to come and go on their schedule.

We spent 5 days at Lady Admiral. The pictures do not do it justice! it was beautiful, well maintained and the pool area was spacious and welcoming. The location is perfect; steps from Duval but offered privacy from noise and closer to the southern end. We will definitely be back!

We went to Key West to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday, June 2021, with another couple. Not having been to Key West before, we were shooting in the dark a little with knowing where the best locations were. This house, was hands down, the best place we could have found. You are just off Duval, but there isn't a lot of walking traffic or other types of traffic going by all hours that you see all over Key West. We rented bicycles, which was the only way to go! We could bike or walk to anywhere in Key West, without much of an issue. The house worked out great! The other couple stayed in the guest house and we stayed in the main house. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the kitchen was adequate. We even cooked several meals in the kitchen to save on going out. We loved being able to come back and cool off in the pool in the afternoons after roaming the city in the mornings. A quick nap and off to dinner. We received text messages and phone calls from the property manager to make sure we got in ok, and had what we needed. She was just a text away, which was great! Honestly, we couldn't have loved this property more!!

The only thing that happened, which I don't blame on the property or the owners, was a super sketchy guy came knocking on the front door at 4:50 one morning, and when we opted to not answer...he made his way around to the back doors and started knocking there asking to come in. We had clearly not latched the gate. My husband made sure he went away with a threatened call to the police, and the guy disappeared and we never saw him again. Just make sure you lock the doors and gates at night, just in case. Although, I'm sure this was a one off.

Lady Admiral was a great rental property! The primary and outdoor space was awesome. Only complaint, the main door lock was a little tricky to lock / unlock. Would stick here and there. Other than that, it was in a great location, clean, and the outdoor pool / sitting area was perfect.

Backyard tropical paradise with a super clean heated pool with waterfall. Pool house was perfect for the couple that likes to sleep in, has its own bathroom and air conditioner. Great service and a great rental, we will be back.

The property was great! I had reservation when I was originally looking at it because of the square footage but it ended up being the perfect amount of space for 6 people. The location was close to everything. It was perfect. Except the hangovers!

The house and grounds were perfect for six of us. It was so nice to have our personal pool and great location. House had all amenities that you need and gas grill for cooking and laundry. We used it all. The only negative is with storms was pool way to full and didn’t seem to be filtering correctly. We cleaned up area and pool skimmer. No one came to clean after storms.

Lady Admiral was the perfect home for our trip! Plenty of room inside main house and having the pool house was a bonus. You don’t find many 3 bedroom homes with 2.5 bathrooms, it was nice to have! We enjoyed having a pool all to ourselves and was so nice and refreshing in the afternoons.
The management company Truman & Co and Melanie was an angel. She was very responsive and worked with us the entire time! She made everything so easy! I cannot say enough Wonderful things about our experience and will tell everyone I know how wonderful it was! We will be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this rental. The decor was absolutely amazing. The bed was so comfortable. The pillows we so comfy we tried to find a tag to purchase for our home. It looks small but it’s so roomy and had everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect. It was so clean and the property manager was very attentive and always available. From the moment we walked in we were thrilled!!! This home has been gutted and rebuilt from the inside out. Fabulously decorated, very comfortable beds, a beautiful kitchen, a wonderful Pool Guest House, a very comfortable and large patio deck around a centerpiece of a beautiful L shaped swimming with an amazing water fall.. Great rental in Key West that is in a quiet yet convenient location off Duval St. Easy walks to restaurants & shops but peaceful in the evenings. The home was adorable, clean and the perfect set up for our family with 2 teenagers. The pool and washer/dryer were a must-have during our July vacation. Our family enjoyed our stay at The Lady Admiral Cottage. Lots of fun interesting artwork gave the cottage a very beachy feel. Everything was clean and well equipped. The pool was a great source of afternoon entertainment for our grandchildren. While the houses are very close together on the street, we all remarked on how private the back yard/pool area felt. I would definitely recommend the cottage for family get together!

This 3 BR cottage was a great place to stay. Pool area had great sunlight during the afternoon. Very clean and tidy. So conveniently located near Duval St and the beach. Easy Walking distances to many restaurants and cafes. Bike rental is the way to get around Key West. Lyft worked well for golf course and airport. I’d definitely re-rent this place.

Highly recommend just a short walk to Duval in very quiet neighborhood. House was even nicer than the pictures and we had plenty of room for 6 people. Pool very nice and relaxing we will definitely stay at Lady Admiral again.

Wonderful stay in this perfect traditional Key West style cottage. Amazing pool for the kids and stunning pool house as well. Ideal quiet location a few steps away from Duvall Street and very near all of the attractions. Decorated to the highest standard with loads of original features. Plenty of room for the 6 of us.
